TRAVEL POLICY
Last Modified: February 20, 2026
Travel planning and booking services provided by The Boarding Lounge are available exclusively to U.S. citizens. By using our services or submitting an inquiry, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.
At The Boarding Lounge, we operate as a professional travel advisory practice, providing strategic planning, supplier coordination, and curated travel design based on each client’s unique preferences and goals.
1. Advisory Services
Our services may include:
-
Destination and property research
-
Resort and cruise comparisons
-
Room or cabin category guidance
-
Trip routing and itinerary structure (when applicable)
-
Travel logistics coordination
-
Experience recommendations
-
Travel protection guidance
-
Timeline management and payment reminders
Certain travel planning services may require a non-refundable Planning Fee depending on the scope and complexity of the request. Applicable fees are communicated prior to the commencement of services.
2. Booking & Supplier Coordination
The Boarding Lounge assists clients in securing travel arrangements through authorized third-party travel suppliers, including hotels, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, excursion providers, transfer services, and travel insurance providers.
All reservations are subject to the pricing, availability, and terms of the respective supplier.
We act solely as an intermediary and are not responsible for supplier operational changes, schedule adjustments, pricing changes, or service disruptions.
3. Experience Recommendations vs. Reservations
Standard planning includes recommendations and guidance for dining, activities, excursions, and on-property experiences.
Reservation handling for dining, spa services, private tours, and other hands-on execution may require an added Concierge Service.
4. Travel Changes & Cancellations
Clients are responsible for reviewing supplier cancellation and refund policies. We provide coordination assistance where possible but are not responsible for supplier-imposed penalties or fees.
Planning and advisory fees paid to The Boarding Lounge are non-refundable.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trips. Declining travel insurance is at the client’s own risk.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate traveler information
-
Reviewing all confirmations and documentation
-
Meeting payment deadlines
-
Complying with entry requirements
-
Communicating promptly regarding changes or questions
While we provide strategic guidance and coordination, final travel decisions and supplier agreements remain the responsibility of the client.
7. Policy Updates
Travel policies are subject to change. The most current version will be available on our website.
