Meet Yomaris Matos
Travel has always been a dream of mine.
For as long as I can remember, I've been inspired by the idea of discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Like many people, though, I know how quickly life can get in the way. Between work, family, and everyday responsibilities, the trip you've been dreaming about often becomes the trip you keep saying you'll take "someday."
That realization is what inspired me to create The Boarding Lounge. Not simply because I love travel—it was discovering how much I enjoyed helping others turn their travel dreams into reality.
I genuinely enjoy the process of taking someone's vision, understanding what matters most to them, and designing an experience that feels effortless, meaningful, and uniquely theirs. From choosing the right destination and finding the perfect place to stay to coordinating the countless details most travelers never have to think about, I believe it's those behind-the-scenes touches that often transform a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Whether you arrive with a detailed plan or just the desire to get away, my goal is the same: to make the journey from dreaming to departing feel just as exciting as the vacation itself.

When I'm not planning vacations, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, exploring Florida with my husband, riding our bikes, island hopping on our jet skis, camping, reading a good book, or dreaming up where our next adventure will take us.
